Terms and Conditions

By attending a Kingpin venue or transacting through this website (including, but not limi⁠ted to, by making an online booking, purchasing a booking voucher, purchasing a gift-card or registering or topping-up your Powercard), you agree to be bound by, and comply with, the following terms and conditions:

Safety Rules

  1. Warning. There are inherent risks in the participation in Tenpin Bowling, Laser Skirmish and the use of the Amusement Games or Rides. You should consider this participation an exercise in good judgement and act in a responsible manner while using this venue.
  2. Responsibility. Adults / carers are responsible for persons under their supervision.
  3. Lane Approaches. No food or drink on the approach. Slippery, wet or sticky spots or substances can affect a bowler’s approach and cause a fall and serious injury. If the approach is sticky or slippery, stop bowling and ask a staff member for assistance.
  4. Ball and Shoes. Wear bowling shoes (with socks) while bowling or pre-approved shoes at the discretion of the venue manager. Have the correct fit for the bowling ball and shoes. See a staff member for help selecting or changing a ball or shoes.
  5. Foul Line. Lanes are treated with oil and are extremely slippery. Crossing the foul line can cause a fall and serious injury. Please obey safety signs in the venue and do not cross the foul line for any reason.
  6. Tripping Hazards. Watch for step-ups to and from the approach and other areas of the venue and keep all coats, bags and personallbelongings out of the walking paths to avoid tripping. Tell a staff member about any tripping hazard right away.
  7. Equipment. Mechanical equipment is dangerous and can cause injuries. If a ball or pin is stuck ask a staff member for assistance immediately. Any lane faults must be reported to reception. While a fault is being attended to, no balls are to be sent down the lane.
  8. Ball Return. The ball return has moving parts. Serious injury can result from reaching into the ball return opening. Keep hands away from the ball return and ball return tray. Watch children.
  9. Bowling: Do not bowl more than one ball down the lane at any time.
  10. Staff Direction: You must obey all reasonable verbal or written instructions / warnings given by Kingpin staff
  11. Darts: minimum playing age is 12 years old. No-one is to step in front of the darts player during throws.

House Rules

  1. Kingpin will serve all customers in a friendly and courteous manner. No person will be denied service on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, physical disability or age.
  2. We cannot guarantee you or your guests will be able to complete your activities, if you or any guests in your group are late.
  3. Kingpin may refuse service or access to a venue based on a customer's inappropriate behaviour or dress attire. No item which, in Kingpin’s opinion, may be dangerous, encourage aggressive behaviour or be disruptive is permitted in the venue.
  4. Footwear must be worn at all times in our venues.
  5. Hats / Caps may be asked to be removed- subject to security requirements.
  6. There will be no use of alcohol or illegal drugs, other than alcoholic beverages provided by Kingpin.
  7. Customers must comply with laws and regulations controlling the use of alcoholic beverages.
  8. After 11pm all minors must be accompanied by their own parent or legal guardian.
  9. Kingpin does not permit outside food or drink (except birthday cakes or similar items approved in advance by Kingpin) in the venue.
  10. It is each individual's responsibility to safely manage their own allergies. Information for allergenic ingredients of menu items is available upon request. TEEG is unable to guarantee that any food item prepared in our venue is free from traces of allergens.
  11. Kingpin may, in its sole discretion, delay, suspend or end a bowling or M9 Laser Skirmish game, or suspend or cancel a customer's use of the venue in whole or in part, for reasonable cause.
  12. Kingpin is not liable for delays, postponements or other circumstances related to or caused by circumstances beyond its control including but not limi⁠ted to the unavailability of lanes, loss of electricity, inclement weather, scheduling, fire, cyclone or flood.
  13. Patrons with an Epileptic condition need to understand that there are multiple flashing lights in the venue that may result in a seizure.
  14. For your safety and comfort there are height, weight and age restrictions on some rides and amusement machines. Please refer to the displayed signage for specific details.
  15. Design and systems of Kingpin are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You must not infringe those rights.
  16. Any photographs, videos or sound recordings taken by you must be for personal use only. Any use, reuse or production for commercial purposes without our express written consent is strictly prohibited and may result in loss or damage to Kingpin.
  17. Your image may be taken at any time for security purposes or for use in marketing materials
  18. All Kingpin venues are non-smoking.
  19. Kingpin takes all reasonable steps to provide you with a safe and enjoyable Bowling Venue. However, and to the extent permitted by law, Kingpin will not be liable to any person in respect of any loss of or damage to the personal property of, or the loss of life or personal injury to, any person, whether that loss, damage or personal injury is caused by any person’s negligence (including the negligence of Kingpin) or otherwise.

Online Booking Rules

  1. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation to check in at reception and receive the correct bowling shoes. (please note our venues open at 10am - all 10am bookings to arrive for the opening time).
  2. We cannot guarantee you or your guests will be able to complete your activities, if you or any guests in your group are late.
  3. Online bookings are not refundable unless you are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law. We can change reservation times provided that at least 24 hours’ notice is given (subject to availability and price).
  4. In the unforeseen circumstance Kingpin has encountered lane technical issues your bowling start time may run later than the above confirmed start time.
  5. If you appear to be under the age of 25 you may be required to supply suitable identification to prove you are over the age of 18.
  6. We only accept the following forms of identification: Valid Australian Driver’s License, Australian & International Passport or Australian Proof of Age Card.
  7. Guests will not be permitted entry into any Kingpin venue if deemed intoxicated.
  8. After 11pm all minors must be accompanied by their own parent or legal guardian.
  9. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.
  10. NSW, VIC, NT & SA Guests: Alcoholic beverages and bar tabs may only be purchased by persons over the age of 18. You may be asked to prove that you are over the age of 18 by presenting a valid form of ID. Kingpin supports the responsible service of alcohol and reserves the right to refuse to serve you if doing so would result in a contravention of any law, the conditions of the liquor licence at one of our venues or our internal policies. In the event that you are refused service, any alcoholic beverages that you have purchased will be refunded and, if you have not exhausted all of any bar tab that you have purchased in full, you will be provided with a refund equivalent to the unused value of that bar tab. If the bar tab was complimentary, or included in connection with a promotion, the balance of the bar tab may be used on non-alcoholic beverages and any unused balance will be forfeited.
  11. QLD Guests: Alcoholic beverages may only be purchased by persons over the age of 18. You may be asked to prove that you are over the age of 18 by presenting a valid form of ID. Kingpin supports the responsible service of alcohol and reserves the right to refuse to serve you if doing so would result in a contravention of any law, the conditions of the liquor licence at one of our venues or our internal policies. In the event that you are refused service, any alcoholic beverage that you have purchased will be refunded.
  12. Vouchers and bookings can only be purchased through this web site by using a major credit card, PayPal, gift card or our pay in venue option. Your credit card or PayPal account will be debited at the time of ordering. Pay in venue requires you to pay the total booking amount before play, and can be paid in cash, by gift card or by using a major credit card.

Powercards

By purchasing or using a Powercard, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Treat this Powercard like cash. Kingpin will not be held responsible for defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen Powercards and these will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. Register your details in venue and we may be able to transfer your tickets and cash balance. The credit balance on this Powercard is redeemable for game use at Timezone, Kingpin and ZONE BOWLING venues within Australia only. This Powercard cannot be used for birthday party deposits, to purchase gift cards or to acquire Timezone, Kingpin or ZONE BOWLING goods and/or services online. This card is not redeemable for cash and cannot be re-sold. The cash balance and tickets on this Powercard cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be given for remaining balances but any remaining balance may be applied to future play credit. This Powercard will expire 1 year from the last used date, at which time any unused balance and tickets will be forfeited. You are liable for all transactions on this Powercard except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence on our part or on the part of our employees. Monies, bonuses and tickets cannot be split across separate Powercards. All loads must be onto a single Powercard and any bonus amounts placed onto the same Powercard.

Reference to Activities in Party & Event Packages

Kingpin offers a variety of group and corporate packages for events attended by a minimum of 6 guests. A reference to ‘one activity’ or ‘two activities’ in any promotional material relating to such packages is to be interpreted in accordance with the following terms.

  1. A reference to one activity means any one of the following:
    1. One game of bowling
    2. 3 Laser missions (at selected venues)
    3. One session of karaoke (at selected venues)
    4. One escape room session (at selected venues)
    5. One session of VR (at selected venues)
    6. One session of bullseye darts (at selected venues)
    7. 30 minutes of table tennis (at selected venues)
    8. 60 minutes of Timeplay on selected arcade games
  2. A reference to two activities is a reference to any two of the above activities.

Reference to Activities in School Sport & Vacation Care Packages

Kingpin offers a School Sport and Vacation Care package for events attended by a minimum of 15 guests. A reference to ‘one activity’ or ‘two activities’ in any promotional material relating to such packages is to be interpreted in accordance with the following terms.

  1. A reference to one activity means any one of the following:
    1. One game of bowling
    2. 3 Laser missions (at selected venues)
    3. One session of karaoke (at selected venues)
    4. One escape room session (at selected venues)
    5. One session of VR (at selected venues)
    6. One session of bullseye darts (at selected venues)
    7. 30 minutes of table tennis (at selected venues)
    8. 60 minutes of Timeplay on selected arcade games

Age & Height Restrictions

  1. For safety reasons, the minimum age for our laser arenas is 6 years old.
    For safety reasons, the minimum age for our escape rooms is 14 years old.
  2. For safety reasons, the minimum age for our augmented reality bullseye darts games is 12 years old.
  3. There is no minimum age for table tennis.
  4. We recommend that Kingpin parties are for kids aged 5 and above to deliver the best experience for the children.
  5. There are no age restrictions for Virtual Reality, however for safety reasons the following height and weight restrictions apply:
    • Minimum height of 110cm
    • Children between 110 and 122cm must be accompanied by an adult
    • Maximum weight of 130kg
    • Please do not play if you are pregnant, claustrophobic, have a heart condition or are prone to motion sickness or dizziness.

Fair Play Policy

A fair play policy applies for Unlimited Bowling & or Laser Skirmish or any promotion⁠ where an unlimited play component is offered. To ensure that all patrons get a fair⁠ attempt at the various activities, some people will be asked to move on to play another⁠ activity to ensure fairness.

The Policy

  1. Bowling – 2 games guaranteed, then subject to availability
  2. Laser Tag – 2 games guaranteed, then subject to availability
  3. The manager on duty reserves the right to allocate guests to activities

Kingpin Birthday Party Booking

  1. We cannot guarantee you or your guests will be able to complete your birthday party if you or any guests in your group are late.
  2. In the unforeseen circumstance Kingpin encounters technical issues your birthday party start time may begin later than the original booking start time.
  3. The purchasing of birthday party packages and extras may be subject to credit card and other fees. Kingpin reserves the right to vary the amount of this transaction fee from time to time, as specified in the booking purchasing process.
  4. Birthday party prices are subject to change. Any change will only apply to bookings made after the date that the change is published. All prices in AUD and include GST.
  5. Birthday party booking deposits can be purchased through this web site or over the phone by using a major credit card or PayPal. Your credit card or PayPal account will be debited at the time of booking.
  6. Birthday party booking deposits can also be purchased at any Kingpin centre by using EFTPOS or Cash. Your EFTPOS account will be debited at the time of booking.
  7. Kingpin uses the DPS Payment Express Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. DPS processes online credit card transactions securely for thousands of merchants globally, providing a safe and secure online payment service.
  8. Payments are processed in real-time
  9. Kingpin does not have access to your full card number, this credit card payment is secured by DPS
  10. DPS have bank grade security. All transaction details are stored in their PCI-DSS compliant Data Centre
  11. DPS Payment Express Software is certified with over 200 banks globally. Visit www.paymentexpress.com for more info on online credit card payments.
  12. Kingpin reserves the right to refuse any order placed for any Kingpin birthday party packages. Management reserves the right to change the birthday party terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will only apply to bookings made after the date that the updated terms and conditions are published.
  13. A $150 deposit is required when booking your party; the final balance is to be paid 4 business days prior to your event based on your final guest numbers. A minimum of 3 business days' notice before the party booking is required to receive a refund of the deposit amount. Credits will be given for cancellations within 3 business days of the event.
  14. There is a minimum of 8 guests required for a birthday party booking
  15. No external food or beverage is permitted, unless in relation to a food allergy which the centre has been made aware of
  16. Your birthday party group will either be eating in the centre's party room [selected centres], or on the concourse, subject to availability and dependent on the selected package
  17. You must arrive 30 minutes prior to your birthday party start time to ensure your party begins on time. Kingpin birthday parties run for the following lengths of time: Kids Silver Package: 2-3 hours | Kids Gold Package: 3-3.5 hours | Kids Platinum Package: 3-3.5 hours | Teens Silver Package: 2-3.5 hours | Teens Gold Package: 3-4 hours
  18. 1,400, 900, 400 & 300 ticket values added into kids & teens packages are the final amount of tickets each guest will receive, 30 minutes of playtime is not a ticket-accruing feature.
  19. The following information must be confirmed 72 hours before your booking;
    1. Final number of guests attending
    2. Any special dietary requirements i.e. vegetarian or food intolerances;
    3. If you would like to order any additional platters, cake or extras; and
    4. If you require any additional lanes booked for older siblings or adults
  20. Platters cannot be cancelled within 72 hours of the party
  21. Laser Tag cannot be exclusively booked unless your group fills capacity of the arena.
  22. If your party is Laser Tag only, closed sport shoes must be worn by all guests.
  23. The minimum age for children at Kingpin parties is 6 years old
  24. The minimum age for children to participate in Laser Tag at Kingpin parties is 6 years old
  25. The minimum age for children to participate in Cryptology Escape Rooms at Kingpin parties is 14 years old
  26. The minimum age for children to participate in Table Tennis at Kingpin parties is 6 years old.
  27. The minimum age for children to participate in Bullseye Darts at Kingpin is 12 years old and is only available on Teen birthday parties and above.

In-venue Mobile Food Ordering App

  1. Mobile Ordering App orders are not refundable unless you are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law.
  2. You may be asked to prove that you are over the age of 18 by presenting a valid form of ID. Kingpin supports the responsible service of alcohol and reserves the right to refuse to serve you if doing so would result in a contravention of any law, the conditions of the liquor licence at one of our venues or our internal policies. In the event that you are refused service, any alcoholic beverages that you have purchased will be refunded.
  3. If you appear to be under the age of 25 you will be required to supply suitable identification to prove you are over the age of 18.
  4. We only accept the following forms of identification: Valid Australian Driver’s License, Australian & International Passport or Australian Proof of Age Card
  5. Orders can only be purchased through the Mobile Ordering App by using a major credit card, PayPal, gift card or our pay in venue option. Your credit card or PayPal account will be debited at the time of ordering.

Free Activity Passes

In addition to any specific terms printed on the pass, free activity passes are subject to the following terms and conditions.

  1. A reference to one activity means any one of the following for 1 person:
    1. One game of bowling
    2. 3 Laser missions (at selected venues)
    3. One session of karaoke (at selected venues)
    4. One escape room session (at selected venues)
    5. One session of VR (at selected venues)
    6. One session of bullseye darts (at selected venues)
    7. 30 minutes of table tennis (at selected venues);
    8. 30 minutes of selected arcade games
  2. Kingpin reserves the right to reject defaced, mutilated or altered passes. Lost or stolen passes will not be replaced.
  3. Passes are not redeemable online, are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  4. The original pass must be surrendered at the time of redemption.
  5. “Free fun pass”, "Squad Pass" and "Double Trouble" cards are not available for use Friday or Saturday after 6pm.

Gift Cards

Kingpin will do everything to ensure gift cards are posted promptly, but delivery times can be affected by circumstances unforeseeable to Kingpin, i.e. postal service high demand, etc. Physical and electronic gift cards purchased through this website on and from 1 August 2024 are subject to the following terms and conditions:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE: By purchasing or using this gift card, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Treat this card like cash. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. The credit balance on this card is only redeemable for goods and/or services that are available for purchase via EFTPOS at TIMEZONE, KINGPIN and ZONE BOWLING venues within Australia or online via the social booking engines accessible at https://booking.zonebowling.com and https://booking.kingpinplay.com. This card is not redeemable for cash, cannot be re-sold and cannot be reloaded. This card will expire in 36 months after the issue date, at which time any unused balance will be forfeited. No change will be given but any remaining balance may be applied to future purchases. If a purchase exceeds the available card balance, you must make up the difference with another payment method. You are liable for all transactions on your card except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence on our part or on the part of our employees. Royal Rewards Membership

By using the members portal you agree to the following terms & conditions and will receive the below benefits:

  1. You would like to receive the latest news & offers from Kingpin to the email address you have provided.
  2. Any loaded Kingpin cards are your own and in your possession.
  3. Any load amounts are confirmed as these are non refundable and non-transferable.
  4. Reload checkout has a time limit of 5 minutes to complete any transaction for security reasons.
  5. Royal Rewards member benefits claimed in-venue must have details ready to present to our team so that we can confirm your membership.
  6. Powercards will expire 12 months from the last in-venue use date, at which time any unused balance and Powertickets will be forfeited. App reloads do not count towards extending your Powercard expiry.
  7. Timezone and Zone bowling cards can be added to your account but will not be able to be added to any separate accounts across the brands, use the same log in details across the platforms to access the same account.
  8. Tax invoices for each portal transaction will be shown below the corresponding powercard listed.
  9. All members will receive discounts on Gold, Silver and Bronze general booking packages only, in-venue and online. If booking online, use the members code in your portal at checkout. Excludes all add ons, parties and events bookings and any other promotional packages/activities not listed. If any guest uses a member's code at checkout please note you will be asked to present your own members details in-venue to prove your membership. 
  10. The Kingpin Member Portal sign up bonus offer is valid for all sign ups from May 14th 2024 until the 31st December 2024.
  11. Guests must sign up for a Kingpin member account, add a valid mobile to their account, and log in after May 14th 2024 in order to receive a $20 sign up bonus voucher.
  12. The voucher expires 30 days from receiving the voucher and must be redeemed within 30 days for the credit to be applied to a Powercard.
  13. No extensions will be given to expired vouchers.
  14. The voucher is only able to be redeemed in Kingpin venues in Australia.
  15. The voucher can only be applied once per person, not per card or profile and will be verified by the Kingpin team in-venue.
  16. Royal Rewards members benefits may not accrue nor benefit your entire party.
  17. Royal Rewards members will receive 1x free arcade game per day so long as; the game is played on a Yellow card reader game, it will be automatically credited the following day after a successful sale transaction of $1 or more, $1 per 92 days must be spent for the daily free Yellow card reader game to be credited to your Powercard and is only applicable in Kingpin venues where an in-venue transaction has taken place.
  18. Royal Rewards Gold card members will have VIP games prices within Kingpin AU venues however discounted gameplay may not be available on all games.
  19. Access to exclusive promotional deals, special offers and any additional benefits sent via email that may be periodically introduced.
  20. Member's prices on the menu are rounded to the nearest $0.50.
  21. One FREE activity on the day of your birthday sent via email after the 10th of May 2024. Guests will only receive this voucher if their birthday has been added to their member portal account details and they are subscribed to receive email marketing from Kingpin. It can take up to a month to process the one FREE activity on your birthday if a guest signs up via the website or booking engine. One FREE Activity refers to any of the below sessions for one person, redeemable in-venue only:
      1. One game of bowling
      2. 3 Laser missions (at selected venues)
      3. One session of karaoke (at selected venues)
      4. One escape room session (at selected venues)
      5. One session of VR (at selected venues)
      6. One session of bullseye darts (at selected venues)
      7. 30 minutes of table tennis (at selected venues)
      8. 30 minutes of selected arcade games

This cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, online, or with birthday party bookings and/or group & corporate event bookings.

22. Kingpin reserves the right to change or alter these terms and conditions. The amended terms and conditions will only apply to any use of the member portal which occurs after the publication of the amended terms and conditions. For any issues please contact our call centre to assist.

Eat & Play

  1. For every $65 spent in one transaction guests can receive $20 free arcade credit.
  2. The transaction may include any combination of food and beverage items totalling to $65.
  3. Offer does not apply to group bookings or platter sales, or any food or beverage items added to your order through the Kingpin Online Booking Platform.
  4. The card pre-loaded with $20 arcade dollars should be treated as cash. If it is lost or stolen it cannot be replaced.
  5. MOP (service to table app) deals only, excludes bar orders.

Virtual Reality Bundle

  • Available at Kingpin Crown.
  • Includes 3 VR games of the guest’s choice. Guests can choose 3 of the same game or 3 different games.
  • One bundle per guest, i.e. two people cannot share a bundle
  • The bundle can be used across more than one day
  • The VR Kings bundle game card should be treated like cash. If guests misplace the VR Kings game card it cannot be replaced nor can the remaining game balance.

Timeplay

Before purchasing a Time Play package, ensure that you understand the conditions and inclusions. Further information on Time Play packages including pricing and inclusions can be found here.

  1. Each Time Play package is valid for one person to use ONLY.
  2. Sharing of Time Play will result in the forfeit of package inclusions.
  3. Price and inclusions are subject to change.
  4. All games and inclusions must be used in the allocated time.
  5. The allocated time begins after the successful completion of the purchase (the transaction) and the time play package cannot be used at a later date or time in future. 
  6. A delay between each successful tap is used to reduce the risk of Time Play packages being shared.
  7. Powertickets are pre-loaded to your Powercard, additional Powertickets will NOT be awarded during Time Play. Exclusions apply to some packages.
  8. Time Play packages are subject to availability and may not be available in all venues.
  9. Your gameplay credit balance cannot be used during a Time Play package. After the time has lapsed, credit balances will be able to be used.
  10. Timezone reserves the right to change, alter and remove Time Play packs by publishing the updates to this website. Any such change will not apply to Time Play packs acquired prior to the date of publication of the change.
  11. Further Powercard terms and conditions apply. 

Ultimate & Luxe Holiday Passes

  1. The Holiday Passes are only available during school holidays and exclusive to Kingpin Australia. Visit the NZ Kingpin Play page to see NZ deal for holidays.
  2. The Holiday Passes include either one or two activities depending on your purchase.
  3. A reference to one activity means any one of the following:
    1. One game of bowling
    2. 3 Laser missions (at selected venues)
    3. One session of karaoke (at selected venues)
    4. One escape room session (at selected venues)
    5. One session of VR (at selected venues)
    6. One session of bullseye darts (at selected venues)
    7. 30 minutes of table tennis (at selected venues)
  4. All activities must be used on the same day and by the same person.
  5. The Luxe Holiday Pass includes a 30minute Timeplay card activated when first tapped. The Ultimate Holiday pass includes $40 arcade credit for Spring School Holidays 2024 only.
  6. Timeplay allows one a time limited access to all yellow and red coloured reader arcade games. It also includes 2x purple reader game taps and 1x feature game reader tap. See Timeplay terms and conditions for further details.
  7. Arcade credit is non-refundable for cash.
  8. Arcade credit cannot be spent on activities.
  9. Arcade credit expires after 12 months, as per powercard terms & conditions.
  10. The Luxe Holiday Pass includes $5 food and beverage credit to be spent on food and beverage items only. The Ultimate Pass includes $20 food and beverage credit to be spent on food and beverage items only.
  11. Food and beverage credit cannot be spent on activities.
  12. Food and beverage credit must be spent in one transaction, no change will be given.
  13. Food and beverage credit is non-refundable for cash.
  14. Food and beverage credit must be used on the same date as the activities are redeemed.
  15. The Holiday Passes not available in conjunction with any other offer.
  16. The Holiday Passes are only valid during school holidays in each state within Australia.

Double Dollars

  1. Double Dollars valid for the time period specified on the page DOUBLE DOLLARS, from days open (9am and beyond) to close. Excludes venues open beyond midnight, promotional dates begin and end at midnight.

Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6RR Tournament

Definitions:

Bandai Namco Passport means a Bandai Namco card (which must be registered on or before the date in which a guest Registers for the Tournament) that is linked to, and allows a guest to play, the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune arcade game at a Participating Venue.

Eligible Participant means a guest who meets the eligibility criteria outlined in clauses 2 and 3.

Event Organiser means Namco Bandai Amusement Inc.

International Tournament means the tournament to be held by the Event Organiser at Bellesalle Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan on 22 November 2024 - 23 November 2024 on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Event Organiser in its discretion.

Participating Venue means:
Victoria – Timezone Eastland, Timezone Highpoint, Timezone Preston and Kingpin Crown.
New South Wales – Timezone Haymarket, Timezone Blacktown, Timezone Parramatta and Kingpin Macarthur.
Queensland – Timezone Garden City, Timezone Surfers Paradise and Kingpin Chermside.
Western Australia – Timezone Northbridge, Timezone Fremantle and Timezone Lakeside Joondalup.

Tournament means the Timezone and Kingpin Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune Tournament  governed by these terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Registration constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. This Tournament is open to Australian residents aged 16 years and above.
  3. The Eligible Participant may register to participate in the Tournament by:
  4. attending a Participating Venue during the Registration Period and completing the registration form provided by the Promoter;
  5. producing their Bandai Namco Passport upon Registration; and
  6. successfully being one of the first thirty-two (32) participants to Register at that Participating Venue.
  7. Registration will be processed strictly on a first come, first served basis.
  8. In the event that the maximum number of Registrations at a Participating Venue is met (i.e. all thirty-two (32) spaces have been allocated), a guest may express their interest in being included on the waitlist at that Participating Venue by completing the registration form provided by the Promoter.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify any details regarding the identity of any guest purporting to enter the Tournament. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any guest who is unable to produce satisfactory proof of identity, or who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Tournament. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's right to recover damages or other compensation from such guests is reserved at all times.
  10. The Tournament will be held across two stages:
  11. STAGE 1 (Preliminary Tournament)
    Location: 6:00pm (AEST) on 5 October 2024 at each Participating Venue
    Details:
    • All Eligible Participants who have successfully Registered at a Participating Venue must be present at that Participating Venue to compete in Stage 1.
    • If an Eligible Participant is not present at the time that is 15 minutes before the race commences, then that Eligible Participant automatically and immediately forfeits their right to participate in the Tournament. If one or more people who are on the waitlist at a Registration Venue is present at that venue, then the person present who is highest on the waitlist will be eligible to replace the Eligible Participant who has forfeited their right to participate in the Tournament.
    • Eligible Participants will compete against each other in a series of rounds (as determined at the discretion of the Participating Venue) at the Participating Venue, so that one Eligible Participant who places first (1st) in the final round of Stage 1 in each Participating Venue will progress to Stage 2.
  12. STAGE 2 (Regional Tournament)
    Location: 6:00pm (AEDT) on 12 October 2024 at a Regional Tournament Venue which corresponds to the state or territory in which that Eligible Participant successfully Registered (“Stage 2 Venue”)
    Details:
    • All Eligible Participants who have progressed to Stage 2 (“Stage 2 Racers”) must be present at the Stage 2 Venue to compete in Stage 2.
    • If a Stage 2 Racer is not present at the Stage 2 Venue at the time that is 15 minutes before the race commences, then that Stage 2 Racer automatically and immediately forfeits the right to participate in Stage 2 and the balance of the Tournament.
    • Stage 2 is a timed race where Stage 2 Racers will compete at the Stage 2 Venue. There will be two (2) Stage 2 winners, being the two racers who complete the race in the top two fastest time across all the Regional Tournament Venues (“Stage 2 Winners”). The Stage 2 Winners will progress to the International Tournament.
  13. Each of the Stage 2 Winners will receive the following:
    • a return economy airfare (including, where applicable, transfer flights) for one person departing from their nearest Australian capital city to and from Tokyo, Japan (either Haneda or Narita Airport);
    • three (3) nights’ accommodation for one person at a four or five-star hotel;
    • hotel transfers for one person to and from Haneda or Narita airport (as applicable) and to and from Bellesalle Akihabara on the date of the International Tournament; and
    • all meals as set and provided by the Event Organizer, (together known as “Package”).
  14. The Package is subject to the following additional conditions:
    • the International Tournament is a structured event, with the itinerary commencing on 21 November 2024 and concluding on 24 November 2024. The components of the Package apply during those dates only. If a Stage 2 Winner wishes to travel on a date which is outside the itinerary dates, then that Stage 2 Winner must pay for any additional costs incurred;
    • the Promoter will not be liable for any costs, expenses, activities or items incurred or purchased by any Stage 2 Winner which are not expressly included in the Package;
    • if any component of the Package is unavailable, the Promoter or Event Organiser, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute that component with an alternative of an equal or greater value and/or specification;
    • each component of the Package is to be provided by a third party and may therefore be subject to terms and conditions imposed by that third party;
    • the Promoter and Event Organiser’s sole obligation is to arrange and pay for the components of the Package on behalf of each Stage 2 Winner. The Promoter is not liable for, and to the extent permitted by law each Stage 2 Winner releases the Promoter from, any claim, cost, liability, loss or expense arising from or in connection with the Package which is not expressly included in the Package; and
    • any component of the Package which a Stage 2 Winner elects not to utilise will be forfeited and cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash and that Stage 2 Winner cannot make a claim against the Promoter as a result of such forfeiture.
  15. Each Eligible Participant must adhere to the directions of staff during the duration of the Tournament.
  16. Eligible Participants must hold a valid passport and any necessary documents to travel to and from Japan prior to participating in the International Tournament.
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the format and/or rules of the Tournament at its sole discretion. Eligible Participants will be notified of any such changes.
  18. Each Eligible Participant consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Tournament (including any outcome), and promoting any goods or services provided by the Promoter.
  19. If this Tournament is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to forced government closures, technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any person; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel any part of the Tournament, as appropriate.
