What were listening to | Kingpin
With our girl Taylor taking out Album of the Year for "1989" at the Grammys this year, we have been all about her hit single "Out of the Woods". We are big music buffs here at Kingpin, and always play music in our ten pin bowling alley, so check out some of the top tracks we have been loving recently.
Never Be Like You, Flume ft. Kia
This track, with its spacey effects and great base, is the first of Flume's new album, "Skin". We love the up-and-coming Canadian songstress, Kia, and can't wait to hear the rest of Flume's album.
Even though we're still grieving for One Direction, we have to admit that Zayn's first solo track is both racy and deliciously catchy. Keep 'em coming Zayn!
This 20-year old from Illinois has us totally hooked with her chopped up vocals nestled in a perfectly processed track. What a perfect song to set the mood before a space-age game of laser tag.
Love Yourself, Justin Bieber
The Biebs is back, and this track from his newest album has us fan-girling like crazy. In fact, the whole thing is great, perfect for the next kid's birthday party! It's safe to say we are Beliebers again.
Work, Rihanna ft. Drake
While we love Rihanna and Drake apart, these two make an absolute dream duo. We can see why this song has gotten to the top of the Billboard's Top 100. Check on the video too, which just dropped on February 22.
All My Friends, Snakehips ft. Tinashe and Chance the Rapper
This catch tune has been stuck in our heads, and we love that it also contains a thought-provoking message abut the effects of the party lifestyle.
Roses, The Chainsmokers
A new and different sound for The Chainsmokers, this choice song made it to number ten on the Billboard Hot 100.
7 Years, Lukas Graham
This hit by the Danish group - about something we all face: getting older - has taken out the top spot in the Australian singles chart for multiple weeks in a row.
Fast Car, Jonas Blue ft. Dakota
A fresh take on the 1988 classic by Tracy Chapman, this one is a winner with us.
Stressed Out, Twenty One Pilots
Ahh, the perfect anthem for the over-worked. How many times have we said we want to go back to childhood again? At least at Kingpin we get to be kids at heart!
And of course, we can't get enough of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud", which deservedly won Song of the Year at the Grammys. Let us know which tracks you are into right now, and come and see us at Kingpin to enjoy an awesome soundtrack to your game of bowling.
