Kingpin Cocktail Competition Winner: The Grand Dame

For those keen observers of Kingpin’s brand-new drink menu, you may have noticed one drink titled ‘Cocktail Competition Winner’; The Grand Dame. Let’s talk a little bit more about the man behind the drink and how it came to be on the menu.

Winner Chris Burke, Regional Operations Manager, amongst many bar team members across the country recently had the opportunity to enter Kingpin’s Cocktail Competition with a creation of their choice.

Kingpin’s expert beverage team then collated the results, taste-tested them all (small sips of course😉) and ended up choosing ‘The Grand Dame’ to be the competition winner. Its trophy? A coveted space on the newly released cocktail menu.

The Grand Dame is a luxurious mixture of Gordon’s Pink Gin, Strawberry, Ginger & Lemon, garnished with gold-flaked strawberries. “Don’t let the elegant look fool you” Chris says, “underneath has a real spicy kick!”
