Labubu has sold out at Kingpin!

Kingpin Play recently secured very limited stock of the highly-sought-after Labubu dolls available from Saturday the 14th of June 2025. Due to overwhelming demand, they sold out on the same day! These furry creatures are the latest viral toy craze of 2025, but if you don't know what we're talking about let us help you out.

What is a Labubu?

Labubu dolls are the latest 'blind box' collectable doll from retailer POPMART. They originate from a Hong Kong book series "The Monsters" made by artist Kasing Lung. These elvish creatures were inspired by Nordic legends and their cheeky demeanour makes them all the more loveable. They come with a clip that make them perfect to hang off backpacks and purses a-like. Plus their blind box nature makes each coloured collectable that much more desirable because buyers don't know what doll they will get until they open its packet!

Why have Labubu dolls gone viral?

The trendy bag charm can be seen on the designer handbag of many a celebrity including Rihanna and Dua Lipa, but the main celebrity that sky-rocketed this toy to virality was BLACKPINK's LISA when she raved about the toy in an online interview.

From there it was set. The toy was sold out online, in stores and has become a hot TikTok commodity. Along with the celebrity endorsement comes the collectable nature of the toys. There are, in every Labubu set, a range of different colours to collect and one will typically be a rare colour to search for, making every collector ever persistent in their search to complete their sets.

How guests redeemed a Labubu at Kingpin with Powertickets

1. Only 18 Labubus were secured and sent to every Kingpin venue, excluding Norwood SA (sorry Adelaide). It was first come, first served!

2. They were 5,200 powertickets in value.

3. The dolls were available to redeem in our winners vault only. They were not able to be won in our claw games or Kings Claw areas.

4. Only one per guest. We shared the love and made sure everyone had the chance to redeem a Labubu so if a guest redeemed a doll they could redeem only that one.

It was an amazing turn out, we're so excited to continue keeping our winners vaults up to date with the latest viral crazes so watch this space!
